Puri Laddu Recipe - how to prepare Puri Laddu – Sri Krishna Janmasthami Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Maida / All purpose flour)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 sp Ghee
  • Oil for deep fry
  • 2 Elaichi Pods

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add all purpose flour, enough water and make a soft dough and prepare very thin puris.
  2. Fry the puris in hot oil till light brown in color, once cooled grind them into very fine powder.
  3. Grind sugar into fine powder along with elaichi pods, now add the ground powders in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add hot ghee to it and mix it very well and then prepare laddu, Shri Krishna Janmashtami special laddus are ready.
  5. Now tasty tasty poori laddus are ready to offer as naivedyam Lord Sri Krishna.
