Aloo Bajji Recipe / Potato Fritters - Bajji Recipes

  • 1 cup Besan/Gram Flour
  • 2 sp Rice Flour
  • 2 nos Aloo/Potato
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 pinch Cooking Soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep fry


  1. Wash and slice the potatoes into thin round pieces and keep them aside.
  2. In a bowl add besan, rice flour, salt, red chilli powder, cooking soda and mix well, add enough water and prepare bajji batter without lumps.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai, once hot dip aloo slices and drop into hot oil one by one carefully.
  4. Fry them until they become light golden brown in color then remove from the oil and place them on a paper towel.
  5. Now aloo bajjilu are ready to serve, serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
