Onion Gravy Curry For Pooris

Ingredients

  • 2 Onion finely chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Besan/Gram Flour
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 sp Oil
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu:
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • Curry leaves
  • Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a khadai add popu ingredients & fry for 2 mins.
  2. When done add green chillies, curry leaves, onion pieces & fry for 1 min.
  3. Add 2 cups water, turmeric powder, salt & stir well.
  4. Continue to cook on medium flame until onions are soft.
  5. When onions are soften add besan flour mix with water & stir well, cook on low flame for couple of mins.
  6. Once done, transfer into a serving bowl & garnish with coriander leaves.
  7. Onion gravy curry is ready to serve with puri.
