Cabbage Tomato Masala Kura / Patta Gobhi Tomato Masala Curry

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped Cabbage
  • 2 Onion chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes chopped
  • 4 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1' Ginger chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 sp Garam Masala Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad dal
  • 1/2 sp Chana dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut cabbage into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients & fry for 2 mins.
  3. When they splutter add ginger, green chilli pieces, curry leaves and stir.
  4. Add onions and fry for 2 mins, next add tomatoes and stir.
  5. Now add cabbage, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
  6. Sprinkle little water and cook with cover until done.
  7. Add coriander powder, garam masala and stir well.
  8. Cook for a couple of mins and turn off the flame, transfer into a serving bowl.
  9. Cabbage tomato masala curry is ready to serve, serve with rice or rotis.
