Cracked Wheat And Wheat Flour Halwa / Godhuma Rava Godhuma Pindi Halwa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cracked Wheat/Goduma Rava
  • 1/4 cup Wheat Flour/ Goduma Pindi
  • 11/4 cup grated Jaggery
  • 1 pinch Elaichi powder
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 6 cups Water
  • few Cashew Nuts & Raisins

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 sp ghee in a pan fry cashew nuts, raisins and remove from ghee and keep aside.
  2. Add wheat rava to the same pan and fry till nice aroma, remove from the pan to a plate.
  3. Add 2 sp ghee to the same pan add wheat flour and stir-fry till light brown in color and keep aside.
  4. Boil 6 cups of water in a bowl add wheat rava and cook, when it 3/4 th done add wheat flour & stir well, cook for a couple of minutes. Keep stirring
  5. After that add jaggery, elaichi powder and stir continuously, now add remaining ghee and continue to cook on low flame.
  6. When the halwa is ready, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving dish, garnish with cashew nuts and raisins.
  7. Wheat rava and wheat flour halwa is ready to naivedyam for Goddess Durga Devi.
