Raw Banana Curry With Ginger Green Chillie / Aratikaya Allam Mirchi Kura

Ingredients

  • 1 no Raw Banana/Aratikaya
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 2" Ginger Piece
  • 2 sp Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli Crocked
  • Curry Leaves

Instructions

  1. Grind green chillies, ginger into a coarse paste & keep it aside.
  2. Wash, peel aratikaya and cut into small pieces.
  3. Cook them along with salt, turmeric powder & strain.
  4. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry for 2 mins.
  5. Now add curry leaves and cooked aratikaya mukkalu & stir.
  6. Add ground ginger, green chillie paste and mix well.
  7. Cover and cook on low flame for a couple of mins.
  8. Turn off the flame and add lemon juice and stir well.
  9. Aratikaya allam mirchi kura is ready, transfer into a serving bowl.
  10. Serve with white rice and rotis.
