Beetroot Halwa

  • 1 cup grated Beetroot
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 4 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • few chopped Dry Fruits


  1. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan & add the grated beetroot and stir continuously until the raw smell goes.
  2. Add in milk and cook, once the beetroot becomes soft, then add sugar,elaichi powder and mix well.
  3. Add remaining ghee & stir well, cook for 7-8 mins on medium flame.
  4. Cook until the ghee separates, pour on a greased plate, garnish with dry fruits. Beetroot halwa is ready to serve.
