Vermicelli Coconut Bath / Semiya Kobbari Bath - Easy Breakfast Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semiya/Vermicelli
  • 1/2 cup grated Coconut
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • few Cashews Nuts
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 cups Water
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry Leaves
  • 3 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add water, little salt, 1 sp of oil & allow it to a boil, when it start boiling add the vermicelli and cook for 4 or 5 mins.
  2. Once semiya is cooked turn off the flame and pour into a strainer to drain water, pour cold water over it and keep aside for cool.
  3. Heat remaining oil and add popu ingredients and fry, once done add cashew nuts, curry leaves and stir, now add grated coconut, salt & mix well.
  4. Cover and cook on low flame for 1-2 mins then add cooked semiya and mix it very well, let it cook for a while and turn off the flame.
  5. Now Semiya coconut bath is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
