Coconut White Sesame Laddu / Kobbari Nuvvula Laddu

  • 11/2 cup grated Fresh Coconut
  • 1 cup grated Jaggery
  • 1/4 cup White Sesame Seeds
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder


  1. Heat a pan and dry roast sesame seeds and grind into a coarse powder & keep aside.
  2. Add jaggery in a pan with 1/8 cup of water and bring it to a boil, the jaggery dissolves completely then strain it.
  3. In the same pan add jaggery syrup, grated coconut, elaichi powder & cook on medium flame.
  4. Keep stirring frequently, once the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan then add ground sesame powder.
  5. Mix well and remove from the fire and pour on a plate for cool.
  6. Let it cool for some time and make lemon sized balls and set aside, kobbari nuvvula laddus are ready to eat.
