Puri Kohya Laddu - Diwali Special Sweet

  • 1 cup Maida / All purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Kova / Khoya
  • 4 Elaichi Pods
  • Oil for deep fry


  1. In a mixing bowl take all purpose flour, salt and add enough water & make it to a soft dough.
  2. Prepare very thin puris, and fry them in hot oil until light brown in color, let it cool for some time and grind into a coarse powder.
  3. Sugar and elaichi also grind into a fine powder, now mix sugar powder, puri powder, sweet kohya and mix very well.
  4. Mix well with hand and prepare laddoos, puri kova laddoos are ready to eat, store them in an airtight container.
