Alu Methi Paratha / Potato Fenugreek Leaves Paratha

  • 11/2 cup Godhuma Pindi / Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup chopped Methi Leaves / Menthi Kura
  • 1 Aloo / Potato finely chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1/2 sp Chat Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 sp Oil / Ghee


  1. Pressure cook chopped onion, green chillies, aloo pieces, methi leaves with a little water and enough salt.
  2. Allow it to cool for some time, add chat masala and mash it well till smooth.
  3. Add wheat flour to this mashed methi mixture and knead to a smooth dough.
  4. Make small balls of the dough and roll like a chapathi and cook on both sides in a hot frying pan with ghee.
  5. Now alu methi paratha is ready to serve, serve hot with fresh curd/yogurt.
