Sweet Samosa Diwali Sweet

  • 1 cup All purpose Flour
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 sp Ghee
  • Oil for deep fry
  • For Stuffing :
  • 3/4 cup Sweet Kova / Khoya
  • 2 or 3 sp chopped Dry Fruits
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder


  1. Take a bowl and add plain flour, ghee, salt and mix it well.
  2. Add water little by little and make it as a smooth dough and keep aside.
  3. Mix all the stuffing ingredients together in a bowl and keep aside.
  4. Make the dough into small balls and make the balls into small puries.
  5. Cut the round into half each half makes one samosa.
  6. Add one spoon of stuffing on one piece and fold it into triangle.
  7. Apply a little water on the edges and press together to seal the edges.
  8. Form all the samosas in the same way and carefully keep them aside.
  9. Heat oil in a pan add samosas into the hot oil and fry.
  10. Fry them on both sides till they are light golden brown in color.
  11. Take 1/2 cup of water in a pan and add sugar and let it boil.
  12. Make the syrup into one string consistency and add fried samosa into sugar syrup.
  13. Soak it for 1 sec on both sides and keep aside. Now sweet samosas are ready.
  14. Garnish with chopped dry fruits and let them cool for a bit before serving.
