Cabbage Soya Chunks Curry / Patta Gobi Soya Granules Porial

  • 11/2 cup chopped Cabbage
  • 1/4 cup Soya Chunks
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 3 Green Chillies roughly chopped
  • fistful fresh Coconut Pieces
  • 1" inch Ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1/4 sp Chana Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil


  1. Wash and soak soya granules in hot water along with little salt for 10 mins, then squeeze them and keep aside.
  2. Boil water in a pan and add cabbage, turmeric powder, salt to it and cook until soft then strain it to remove excess water.
  3. Meanwhile, grind green chillies, coconut, ginger into a coarse paste and keep it aside.
  4. Heat oil in a khadai add popu ingredients and fry , once done add curry leaves and stir, then add cooked cabbage, soaked soya chunks and stir it well.
  5. Put ground coconut paste to it and stir well to mix, continue to cook on low flame for 5 mins, then turn off the heat.
  6. Now cabbage soya curry is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve with rice or roti.
