Rava Dosa With Jowar Flour / Jonna Pindi Rava Dosa

  • 1 small cup Suji / Semolina / Bombai Rava
  • 1 small cup Jowar Flour / Jonna Pindi
  • 1/4 small cup All purpose flour / Maida
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 sp chopped Green Chilies
  • 1 sp chopped Ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for dosa


  1. In a mixing bowl put all the above ingredients & mix them well with enough water to form a thin batter.
  2. Heat a non- stick tawa and grease it lightly with oil before pouring the batter.
  3. Pour a ladle full of batter from the edges towards the center, now apply 1 sp oil around the edges & pour a little oil in the holes of the dosa.
  4. Once the bottom turns light brown, flip over the rava dosa to the other side, so that it gets cooked well.
  5. Repeat the same process for other dosas also, now jonna pindi rava dosa is ready to serve, serve hot with coconut chutney.
