Semolina Undrallu / Bombai Rava Undrallu – Vinayaka Chavithi recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 small cup Suji / Semolina / Bombai Rava
  • 2 sp soaked Moong Dal
  • 2 sp Fresh Coconut (grated)
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 sp Ghee
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add suji, grated coconut, soaked moong dal, cumin seeds, salt, 1 sp ghee & mix it well, add enough water to make a soft dough.
  2. Take the dough and make small balls, place them on a greased plate and apply little ghee all over them.
  3. Heat water in a steel bowl and place the undrallu plate on it, cover & steam cook for 12 to 15 mins or until the undrallu are done.
  4. When done turn off the flame & keep it covered for 1 min then transfer to a serving platter and offer them for naivedyam to Lord Ganesha.
