Wash and soak tamarind in 1 cup of water for 10 min and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add green chillies, curry leaves and stir.
Add chilakada dumpa pieces & stir for 1 min then add 2 cups of tamarind extract, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and stir.
Now add chopped tomato and stir-cook it for 5 mins, then add methi powder, coriander powder and mix well. Take little water and mix rice flour and add in cooked chilakada dumpa stew and mix well, let it cook for a couple of mins then turn off the flame.
Now chilakada dumpa menthi pulusu is ready, lastly add coriander leaves & transfer into a serving bowl and serve along with rice and dal.
