Malai Kulfi / Easy Kulfi Recipe – How to prepare Malai Kulfi

  • 1/2 lt Whole Milk
  • 1 small cup Cream
  • 4-5 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 sp Corn Flour
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • few chopped Dry Fruits
  • (pistas, badam)
  • Kulfi Moulds or polystyrene cups


  1. Boil the milk on low flame, keep stirring occasionally until it reduced to half its original quantity, meanwhile dissolve the corn flour in little milk and keep aside.
  2. Add sugar and allow it to boil for 2-3 mins, now add the corn flour milk mixture and stir continuously, keep stirring till the milk is slightly thicken.
  3. Then add cream, chopped dry fruits, elaichi powder and mix well, turn off the flame and leave it to cool down completely.
  4. Fill into kulfi moulds or small polystyrene cups and freeze for at least 6-8 hours or till frozen well.
  5. After that malai kulfi is ready, before serving dip each kulfi mould in water and turnout into a serving bowl, garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve immediately.
