Corn Cabbage Pakoda / Corn Patta Gobhi Fritters - Pakoda Recipes

  • 1 small cup Sweet Corn
  • 1 small cup chopped Cabbage
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1/2 sp crushed Coriander Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour/Besan
  • 1 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • few chopped Coriander Leaves
  • few chopped Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep fry


  1. Wash sweet corn and grind into a coarse paste and place it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add above all ingredients (except oil) to ground corn paste and mix them thoroughly by adding little water.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, when hot take small portion of the mixed corn cabbage mixture and drop them in the hot oil.
  4. Deep fry them on medium heat until golden brown in color then remove from the pan and place them onto a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  5. Repeat the same process with the remaining batter, now corn cabbage pakoda is ready.
  6. Garnish with fried curry leaves, green chillies and serve, serve hot with coffee or fruit juice.
