Achari Dal / Dal With Lemon Pickle / Pappu With Nimmakaya Pachadi

Ingredients

  • 1 small cup cooked Toor Dal/Kandi Pappu
  • 1 sp Lemon Pickle/Nimmakaya Pachadi
  • enough Salt
  • For Popu :
  • 1/4 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a kadai add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, cooked dal and mix well.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of water, little salt and cook for 1 min then add lemon pickle and mix every thing well.
  3. Let it cook for another 2 mins on low heat, add chopped coriander leaves and then turn off the flame.
  4. Now lemon pickled dal is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve with rice or roti.
