Soak jaggery in little warm water, when jaggery is dissolved strain the liquid to remove impurities. Put the jaggery water in a bowl, then add rice flour, grated coconut, elaichi powder and make a soft dough.
Apply little ghee and knead the dough well and divide the dough into small lime sized balls and set aside. Take one dough ball and press with fist/pidikili like oval shape and also press finger impressions, repeat the same process with the rest of the dough balls and place them on a greased plate.
In a kadai invert a plate and then pour 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil, then place the sweet kudumulu vessel on it.
Cover with a lid and steam cook for 15-20 mins. When done turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl, now sweet kudumulu/sweet pidi kozukhattai are ready. Garnish with fresh grated coconut and offer as naivedyam/prasadam to Lord Ganesha during Vinayaka Chavithi Festival.
