Endu Kobbari Burfi / Dry Coconut Burfi – How to make Dry Coconut Burfi

Ingredients

  • 11/2 cup grated dry Coconut/Endu Kobbari Turumu
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • 1 sp Ghee for greasing

Instructions

  1. Take two dry coconut copra and grate them into powder using a fine grater and keep aside, apply ghee to a plate and keep aside,
  2. Heat a khadai and add sugar, 1/2 cup of water & boil, keep stirring till the sugar completely dissolves and cook for 1 min
  3. Now add grated dry coconut/endu kobbari turumu, elaichi powder & cook on low-medium flame.
  4. Stirring continuously till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the pan then remove from the flame.
  5. Pour onto a greased plate and spread evenly, let it leave for some time and cut it into desired pieces.
  6. Now dry coconut burfi/endu kobbari burfi is ready, store them in an airtight container.
