Beetroot Coconut Burfi / Beetroot Kobbari Burfi – How to make Beetroot Burfi

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grated Beetroot
  • 1 cup grated Fresh Coconut
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • 2 sp Ghee

Instructions

  1. Apply little ghee to a plate and keep aside, heat remaining ghee to a kadhai add grated beetroot and stir-fry for 2 mins on low flame.
  2. Then add in sugar, coconut with 1/4 cup of water, mix together & cook on medium flame.
  3. Stirring it continuously till the mixture becomes thick, then add in elaichi powder & mix well.
  4. Remove from flame and pour the beetroot coconut mixture onto a greased plate & spread it evenly.
  5. Beetroot coconut burfi is ready, allow it to cool and cut into desired pieces and serve.
