Gobi 65 / Cauliflower 65 – easy starter recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cauliflower Florets
  • Oil for deep fry
  • For Batter :
  • 3 sp All purpose Flour
  • 4 sp Cornflour
  • 1 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 sp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 sp Pepper Powder
  • 1 pinch Saffron Color
  • few chopped Coriander leaves
  • few chopped Curry Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • for Garnishing :
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 5-6 Green Chillies
  • 2-3 sliced Onion

Instructions

  1. Cut the cauliflower into small florets, wash well and boil them in salt( little salt) water for 3 mins , drain the water and pat dry.
  2. In a mixing bowl mix all batter ingredients together then add enough water to it and prepare a thick-thin batter.
  3. Then add chopped coriander, curry leaves, boiled cauliflower florets and mix everything well.
  4. Heat oil in a khadai, when hot take small portion of the cauliflower batter and drop them in the hot oil.
  5. Deep fry them on medium heat until golden brown in color then remove from the khadai, repeat the same process with the remaining batter.
  6. In the same oil fry some curry leaves and slit green chillies for garnishing.
  7. Now cauliflower/gobi 65 is ready, garnish with fried green chillies, curry leaves, sliced onion and serve hot.
