Sweet Corn Halwa / Corn Sheera / Makai Sheera

  • 1 cup Corn Kernels
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • 4 sp Ghee
  • 2 sp chopped Dry Fruits


  1. Grind the corn kernels into paste without adding water & keep aside. Heat ghee in a nonstick pan add ground corn paste and saute it for 2 mins on medium flame.
  2. Add milk and cook till the milk is absorbed, then add in sugar and stirring continuously on low-medium heat till the mixture leaves the the sides of the pan. Once done add elaichi powder, chopped dry fruits and mix well.
  3. Sweet corn halwa/corn sheera is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve hot or cool.
