Foxtail Millet Tomato Pulav/Thinai Tomato Bath/Tomato Rice With Korra Biyyam-Millet Recipes

1 small cup Foxtail Millet/Korra Rice
2 cups Water
1 potato peeled and chopped finely
3 Tomatoes finely chopped
2 Green Chillies slit lengthwise
1 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
Salt to taste
chopped Coriander Leaves
few Curry Leaves
4 sp Oil
Place foxtail millet In a rice cooker bowl, wash well and soak with 2 cups of water and keep aside for 10 mins. Meantime, heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds and fry for 10 secs, then add chopped onion, green chillies and stir-fry till the onions become soft.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry for few secs, then add aloo pieces, curry leaves and cook for a couple of mins, now add tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and mix well, cook on low-medium flame, stirring occasionally until tomatoes are soft.
Now add fried tomato mixture to soaked foxtail millet bowl, add salt and mix everything is well combined and cook. Once done add chopped coriander leaves and mix well, now foxtail millet tomato pulav is ready, switch off and transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot with onion raita.
