Mango Vermicelli Sheera/Mango Semiya Halwa/Mango Semiya Kesari-Halwa recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semiya / Vermicelli
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/2 sp Elaichi Powder
  • few Cashews Pieces
  • 3 sp Ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat ghee in a pan add chopped cashew nuts and fry, then add vermicelli/semiya into it and fry till they become light brown in color, meantime, take a separate bowl and boil the water and milk.
  2. Then pour the boiled water+milk and stir well, let it cook on low flame till the vermicelli becomes soft and it is cooked well, add in sugar and continue to cook for a couple of mins, then add elaichi powder, fresh mango pulp and mix everything well, let it cook on low flame for 30 secs.
  3. Now yummy yummy mango semiya sheera is ready, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with fried cashew pieces and serve.
