Ghee Karam Dosa/Neyyi Karam Dosa-Nellore Special Ghee Karam Dosa

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dosa Batter
  • 4 sp Red Chilly Chutney/Erra Karam
  • Ghee for dosa
  • For Karam Chutney :
  • 1 Onion roughly chopped
  • 2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • enough Salt

Instructions

  1. Combine and grind above chutney ingredients into a smooth paste with little water and keep aside.
  2. Heat a tawa, once hot sprinkle little water on tawa and wipe with a kitchen cloth, then pour a ladle full of dosa batter in the centre and spread the batter with back of the ladle. Drizzle some ghee around the edge and on top of the dosa.
  3. Take 1 sp of the erra karam and spread it on the dosa, now add 1 sp ghee on it and fry the dosa for a min or until the bottom of the dosa turns a nice brown color, don't flip the dosa. Once done put the cooked dosa on a plate. Now Nellore special ghee karam dosa/neyyi karam dosa is ready to serve, serve hot with a chutney or of your choice.
