Gobi Palak Fry/Cauliflower Spinach Dry Curry

  • 1 cup Cauliflower Florets
  • 1 cup chopped Spinach
  • 2 Green Chillies Slit Lengthwise
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 sp Coriander Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 pinch Hing
  • 3 sp Oil


  1. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, chopped onion, green chillies and stir-fry for a min. Then add ginger garlic paste, powder spices and mix well, sprinkle a little water and cook for a while.
  2. Now add chopped gobi florets and mix well, sprinkle some water and cook with a cover until the curry is half done. Then add chopped spinach, salt and mix well, cover with a lid and cook till done.
  3. Then open the lid and mix well, continue to cook until all the moisture has evaporated. When done, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl. Now gobi palak dry curry is ready to serve, serve with rice or roti.
