Papaya Coconut Burfi / Boppai Kobbari Burfi – How to prepare Papaya Coconut Burfi

1 cup grated Semi Ripe Papaya
1 cup grated Fresh Coconut
1 cup Sugar
few chopped Dry Fruits
1 pinch Elaichi Powder(optional)
2 sp Ghee
Wash the papaya and cut into middle then peel the skin of papaya and grate it finely, keep aside for 5 mins, then squeeze it. Grease a plate with little ghee and keep aside.
Heat ghee in a pan, when hot add squeezed papaya and stir-fry for 2 mins on low flame. Take another pan add sugar, 1/2 cup of water and boil it for 2 mins.
Then add in fried papaya, grated coconut and mix well. Cook on low-medium flame, keep stirring till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the pan. Then remove from the flame and pour onto a greased plate and spread evenly.
sprinkle chopped dry fruits on top and press them gently. Let it leave for some time and cut it into desired pieces. Now tasty tasty boppai kobbari burfi is ready to serve.
