Curry Leaves Garlic Chutney / Karivepaku Vellulli Pachadi – Chutney Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Fresh Curry Leaves
  • small lime size Tamarind
  • 1 big pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 4 Garlic Cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • For Chutney Ingredients :
  • 9 Red Chillies
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 sp Chana Dal
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak tamarind in little water and keep aside, wash and pat dry curry leaves on a clean cloth. Heat oil in a pan add chutney ingredients and fry. Now add curry leaves to it and fry for 1 min on low-medium flame.
  2. Then add garlic cloves and turn off the heat, let it cool for some time. After that grind fried ingredients along with soaked tamarind, salt, turmeric powder into a coarse paste by adding little water. Now curry leaves garlic chutney is ready, transfer the ground chutney to a small bowl and serve with hot rice and ghee.
