Grind the raw tamarind pickle, green chillies with little salt to a coarse paste, do not grind it to fine paste, if needed add a little water. Then add chopped onion and blend slightly.
Once done transfer it to a bowl. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, then add in curry leaves and stir, pour the fried popu over the ground chutney and mix well. Now chintakaya ullipaya pachadi is ready. Can be Serve with steamed white rice and ghee.
