Peanut Laddu / Moongfali Laddu – how to make Ground nut Laddu – Laddu Recipes

Ingredients

  • 1 bowl Ground nuts/Verusenaga Pappu/Pallilu
  • 3/4 bowl Jaggery
  • 2 sp Ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan add peanuts and dry roast till they become light brown in color, remove from the pan and let it cool for a couple of mins. Remove the skin by rubbing them , split the peanuts in half and keep side.
  2. Add jaggery in a large pan with 1/2 cup of water and bring it to a boil, the jaggery dissolves completely then strain it. Again boil the jaggery syrup till it forms a thick consistency like a ball. Pour few drops of the syrup into water to check the syrup consistency, if it becomes hard then the consistency is correct.
  3. Add ground nuts to it and mix well, remove the peanut mixture from the pan and transfer to a plate and spread it. while still warm, grease your palms with little ghee and roll the mixture into small balls. Now peanut laddus/Palli Undalu are ready. Let them rest for 1 hour, after that store them in an airtight container.
