Bread Kaja / Sweet Kaja With Bread – How to Make Bread Kaja - Kids Recipes
Ingredients
- 3 Bread Slices
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- Oil for deep fry
- 1 sp Ghee for plate
Instructions
- Take the bread slices and cut the sides, cut each slice into four triangle pieces and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan when hot deep fry the bread slices until crispy and remove from the pan, keep on a paper towel.
- In a bowl combine sugar, water and bring to a boil, stirring continuously until the sugar dissolves completely. Continue to cook on low flame till it becomes two string consistency, turn off the flame and add elaichi powder and keep aside.
- Now dip each fried bread slice into sugar syrup and completely coat it with sugar syrup, place them on a greased plate. let it cool for a couple of mins. Now bread kaja is ready. Transfer into a serve plate and garnish with chopped dry fruits and serve.
