Papaya Halwa Recipe / Boppai Halwa - How to prepare Boppai Halwa - Halwa Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Papaya paste
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Milk Powder
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Ghee
- 1/4 sp Elaichi Powder
- few chopped Dry Fruits
Instructions
- Wash well papaya, peel the skin of papaya and cut it in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Then chop into small pieces and then mash well into a smooth paste.
- Boil milk in a pan add papaya paste and mix well, let it boil till it becomes slightly thick then add sugar and cook on a medium flame for 2 mins or till the sugar dissolves completely.
- Then add in elaichi powder, milk powder and mix well, keep stirring continuously. Now add ghee and stir well, allow it to cook on low heat till the ghee oozes.
- Then add chopped dry fruits and mix everything well. Turn off the flame & transfer into a serving bowl. Now mouth-watering dessert boppai halwa is ready, decorate with chopped nuts and serve cool or normal.
