Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked Rice or Leftover Rice
  • 1 Onion chopped finely
  • 2 Green Chillies slit lengthwise
  • fistful peanuts
  • 2 sp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • few Curry Leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients, pea nuts and fry, once done add green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, chopped onion, turmeric powder and stir-fry until the onions are translucent.
  2. Then add cooked rice, salt, lemon juice and mix everything well and cook for a min. Finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Now lemon onion rice/lemon onion pulihora is ready. Transfer to a serving plate and serve.
