Ingredients

  • 1 cup Thick Poha/Flattened Rice/Aval
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 sp Amchur Powder
  • 1/4 sp Black Salt Powder
  • enough Salt
  • Oil for deep fry
  • few Curry Leaves

Instructions

Heat oil in a pan for deep fry, take a sieve ladle, place some thick poha in it and deep fry on a medium flame until they become crisp and puff up.Fried Poha Chivda Recipe / Flattened Rice Namkeen / Thick Poha Chivda

Once done place the fried poha on a paper towel. Repeat the same with the remaining poha. Deep fry the curry leaves until crispy and keep aside. Transfer the fried poha in a mixing bowl and mix with spices and fried curry leaves.
