For Popu : Wash, peel raw mango and chop into pieces. Then cook them on stove top with one cup of water. Let it cool for a couple of mins. Blend the cooked mango pieces with hand blender or mixer jar. Blend until smooth adding enough water. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped green chillies, crushed garlic, curry leaves, hing and stir – fry it for 30 secs on low flame. Then pour raw mango juice, turmeric powder and boil. Add jaggery, enough salt, red chilli powder and boil. Finally add chopped coriander leaves and bring to a boil. Let it boil for a couple of minutes. After that turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl. Now sweet and sour hot hot Mango Rasam is ready to serve. Ingredients
