Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour/Atta
  • 1/2 cup grated Bottle Gourd/Sorakaya Turumu
  • 1 sp Green Chilli Paste
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Garam Masala Powder
  • 2 sp Wheat Flour for dusting
  • 1 sp Oil for Dough
  • 5 sp Oil for Chapathi frying
  • enough Salt

 

Instructions

In a mixing bowl place wheat flour, chopped palak, grated bottle gourd, green chilli paste, salt, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and mix well.

Add 1 sp oil and mix, make a soft dough with enough water, keep aside for 20 mins with cover.

After that knead the dough well and make equal lemon sized balls and keep aside. Dip the dough ball in dry flour and roll it into a chapathi.

In the meantime, heat tawa over medium heat and place the raw paratha on the hot tawa and cook both sides with oil. Make the same process with the remaining rotis.

Now palak lauki ka paratha is ready to serve, serve it with fresh curd.
