Mango Vermicelli Sheera/Mango and Semiya Halwa/Mango Semiya Kesari
Ingredients
- 1 cup Semiya / Vermicelli
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 2 cups Water
- 1/2 sp Elaichi Powder
- few Cashews Pieces
- 3 sp Ghee
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan add chopped cashew nuts and fry, then add vermicelli/semiya into it and fry till they become light brown in color, meantime, take a separate bowl and boil the water and milk.
- Then pour the boiled water+milk and stir well, let it cook on low flame till the vermicelli becomes soft and it is cooked well, add in sugar and continue to cook for a couple of mins, then add elaichi powder, fresh mango pulp and mix everything well, let it cook on low flame for 30 secs.
- Now yummy yummy mango semiya sheera is ready, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with fried cashew pieces and serve.
