Potato Stuffed Capsicum Fritters / Simla Mirchi Bajji With Stuffed Aloo - Bajji Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 Capsicum
- Oil for deep fry
- 4 sp Besan/Gram Flour
- 2 sp Rice Flour
- 1/4 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1 pinch Cooking Soda
- enough Salt
- 2 boiled pealed Potatoes
- fistful boiled Peas (optional)
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
- 1/4 sp Chat Masala Powder
- 1/4 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- few chopped Coriander Leaves
- enough Salt
- 2 sp chopped Onion
- 2 sp chopped Coriander Leaves

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add above all stuffing ingredients and mix thoroughly, now the stuffing is ready.
- Cut capsicum into 4 pieces and remove pith and seeds carefully and then fill with prepared aloo stuffing.
- Combine batter ingredients in a bowl and mix together, then add enough water to it and make a smooth batter without lumps like bujji batter.
- Heat oil in a pan, once hot dip the stuffed capsicum in the besan batter and deep fry them over medium flame till golden brown.
- Now aloo stuffed capsicum fritters are ready, garnish with chopped onion and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce along with a cup of tea/coffee.
