- 1 cup full grated Beetroot
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 sp Elaichi Powder
- 4 sp Ghee
- 2 sp finally chopped Dry Fruits
Wash peel beetroot and grate it. Heat ghee in a pan add the grated beetroot and stir-fry for 5 mins on low flame.
Then add in sugar and continue to cook.
Add in elaichi powder and mix well. Continue cooking until it starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Pour the beetroot mixture in a greased tray and spread evenly. Sprinkle chopped dry fruits on top and press them gently. Let it leave for some time to cool down.
When completely set cut into desired pieces. Now tasty and delicious beetroot burfi is ready.
