For Popu : Pluck drumstick leaves/munagaku from the stems, wash thoroughly and strain. Place cooked rice in a mixing bowl and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan add peanuts and fry until slightly browned then transfer to a plate, next add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder and fry for a while. Then add drumstick leaves and fry for a couple of mins on low-medium flame until the raw smell goes out. Once the raw smell goes off, add fried drumstick leaves/munagaku mixture, fried peanuts, enough salt to the rice bowl and mix well. Finally add lemon juice and mix everything well. Now healthy, tasty drumstick leaves lemon rice/munagaku pulioha/moringa leaf lemon bath is ready to serve. Ingredients
