Dry roast whole urad dal in a kadhai over medium heat until it turns brown in color, then transfer to a bowl and let it cool down for a couple of mins. Once cooled grind them into powder then remove to a bowl and keep aside. Blend jaggery in a mixie jar then add in urad dal powder and blend it again. Transfer to a mixing bowl. Heat ghee in a pan, once hot add it to ground urad dal jaggery mixture and mix well with a spoon. Then mix the urad dal mixture with hand thoroughly, so that ghee mixes evenly with urad dal mixture.Take small portion of the mixture and shape into a small lemon sized ball. Do the same with the remaining urad dal mixture. Now Andhra famous sweet recipe minapa sunnundalu/urad dal laddus are ready to serve.Ingredients
