- 1 small cup Ground Ginger/Allam Paste
- 3 cups Sugar (same cup)
- 2 sp Ghee
Wash and peel the skin of the ginger, rinse it well and keep aside to dry.
Once dried chop the ginger into small pieces and grind into a coarse paste. In the meantime, apply little ghee to a plate and keep aside.
Add sugar in a pan, pour 1/2 cup of water and boil, once the sugar dissolved completely and make it 2 string consistency, then add in ground ginger paste, mix everything well and boil.
Add 1 sp ghee and stir, cook on low-medium flame, keep stirring till the mixture turns thick and leaves the sides of the pan.
Then remove from the heat and pour to a plate, spread it evenly and allow it to cool down for a little. Then cut them into pieces. Now winter special Allam Murabba/Ginger Candy is ready. It is mainly used for common cold, flu, diarrhea and indigestion problems etc.
