Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Raw Mango
  • 2 sp Ginger Green Chilli Paste
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 sp chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1 sp Oil for dough making
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 sp Oil for roti frying

Instructions

Wash peel green mango and grate it. Blend green chillies, ginger pieces into a coarse paste and keep aside. Place wheat flour in a bowl add grated raw mango, ground ginger chilli paste, chopped coriander leaves, turmeric, red chilli powder, enough salt, 1 sp oil and mix well.

Then add enough water and make a soft dough, keep aside for 20 mins with cover. After that knead the dough well and make equal lemon sized balls and keep aside.

Dip the dough ball in dry flour and place on a flat surface, then roll it into a chapathi.

Meanwhile, heat tawa over medium heat, add 1 sp oil on the tawa and coat the pan with oil, then place the raw roti on the hot tawa and cook both sides with oil. Make the same process with the remaining dough balls.

Now Raw mango paratha/mango rotis are ready to serve, serve with fresh yogurt or dal.
