Aloo Kadhi Recipe / Potato Majjiga Pulusu - Kadhi Recipes
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup chopped Potato
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 sp Besan / Gram Flour
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 sp Coriander Powder
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 2 sp chopped Ginger
- 4-5 Garlic Cloves
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 2 Red Chillies
- 1 pinch Hing
- chopped Coriander Leaves
- few Curry Leaves
- 3 sp Oil

Instructions
- Place buttermilk In a bowl add besan, salt and all spices mix well and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan add chopped potatoes and stir-fry for 3 mins or until half done, then remove from the pan.
- To the same pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add chopped green chillies, ginger, crushed garlic, curry leaves and fry for a while.
- Then pour the buttermilk mix & cook on medium flame for 2 mins, stirring continuously. Then add fried alu pieces and continue to cook for a couple of mins.
- Finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl, now potato buttermilk stew is ready, serve hot with steamed rice.
