Ingredients
- 1 cup Thick Poha/Atukulu/Aval
- 1/4 cup Roasted Chana Dal Powder
- 1/4 cup Dry Coconut Powder
- 1 cup grated Jaggery
- 1 sp Elaichi Powder
- 1/2 sp Ghee
Instructions
Heat ghee in a pan add poha/aval and fry for a couple of mins on low flame, then transfer to a plate and allow it cool down.
Once cooled blend them into a coarse powder.
Then add in grated jaggery, elaichi powder and blend, now add dry coconut powder and blend it again, transfer to a mixing bowl.
Blend roasted chana dal/putnala pappu into powder
Now add all the ground powders and mix thoroughly with hand. Take some amount of the poha mixture and make into small lemon sized balls. Tasty and delicious poha chana dal laddus are ready. Served as naivedyam to Lord Sri Krishna during Krishnashtami festival.
