Ingredients

  • 1 cup Maida/All purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Suji/Rava
  • 1 cup powdered Sugar
  • few chopped Dry Fruits
  • 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
  • 6 tbsp Ghee

Instructions

Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan, add chopped dry fruits and fry for a while, then remove from the pan to a plate.

To the same pan add rava/suji and stir-fry on medium fire till it turns slightly golden brown or the raw smell goes away, then transfer to a mixing bowl.

Add 2 tbsp ghee and heat it, then add in maida/all purpose flour and stir-fry. Fry it continuously on low heat till it gives good aroma and turns light brown in color. After that remove from the heat and transfer to the fried suji. Add in powdered sugar, elaichi powder, fried dry fruits and mix.

Then add remaining warm ghee and mix thoroughly with hand, take some amount of the mixture and make laddus. Now tasty and delicious maida suji laddus/all purpose flour rava laddus are ready. 

Served as naivedyam to Lord Ganesha during Vinayaka Chavithi festival.
