Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sajjalu/Pearl Millets/Bajra/Kambu
  • 1/2 cup Peanuts/Pallilu
  • 1 cup Jaggery
  • few Coconut Pieces
  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1/4 sp Elaichi Powder

Instructions

Heat a kadai add pearl millets and dry roast on medium heat until you get nice aroma then transfer to a bowl and keep aside to cool.

Once cooled grind the fried pearl millet/sajjalu into powder and then transfer to a bowl.

In the same pan add peanuts and dry roast till they become light brown in color, remove from the pan and let it cool for a couple of mins. then remove the skin and blend into a coarse powder.

Blend coconut pieces into powder and transfer to pearl millet flour.

Now blend chopped jaggery into powder.

Combine all the ground ingredients with elaichi powder and ghee.

Mix everything well and make laddus. Now healthy recipe bajra peanut laddus/sajja Pindi palli laddus are ready.

Transfer into a serving bowl and serve as naivedyam to Lord Ganesh during Vinayaka Chavithi festival.
