Ingredients
- 1 cup Wheat Atta/Godhuma Pindi
- 2 sp Suji/Semolina/Bombay Rava
- 1/2 sp Carom Seeds/Ajwain/Vamu
- 1 sp Oil for dough
- enough Salt
- Oil for deep Frying
Instructions
Take a bowl place above ingredients and mix together, then add enough water and make it a soft dough, cover and keep the dough aside for 20 mins.
After that divide the dough into small lemon sized balls. Place the dough ball on a flat surface and press it into a medium sized puri, do the same with the remaining dough balls.
In the mean time, heat oil in a khadai when it is hot deep fry the puri on both sides. Cook one at a time in hot oil, remove from the hot oil and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil. Make remaining puris the same way, now ajwain puris/vamu puris are ready to serve, serve immediately with any curry or chutney.
